As a lifelong resident of the area, I have dedicated my career to serving the local community. With 17 years of experience as a real estate professional, I also spent 18 years in the retail farm equipment industry, taking on roles in sales, service, administration, and management.
Passionate about sustainable agriculture, I have facilitated Environmental Farm Plan, Grow Your Farm Profits, and Biosecurity workshops and webinars with the Ontario Soil & Crop Improvement Association's Georgian Central Team for 7 years. My commitment to the environment also extends to my own farm business, where I raise Charolais/Red Angus seedstock and Clydesdale horses using sustainable practices.
As an active member of the community, I serve as President of the Markdale Agricultural Society and volunteer with both the Grey County 4-H Leaders Association and the Grey County 4-H Beef Club. Additionally, I contribute my time to the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation, fundraising for the Together in Care campaign to support the new Markdale Hospital construction project.
When I'm not working or volunteering, I enjoy participating in and attending hockey games, livestock shows, and farm tractor pulls. Hiking and snowshoeing are also favourite pastimes, allowing me to appreciate the beautiful natural surroundings of our region.
